Confidentiality is a given in all our assignments. We strive to be as honest as possible with each other, and what we discuss remains private between us.

This is how we handle your personal data

Below you will find information about the data we process about you, for what purposes, the legal basis for the processing, how long the data is stored, and your rights.

Data Controller

How do we use and protect personal data?

What do we use your personal data for?

When you contact us via email, call us, or fill out one of our contact forms, we save the information necessary to provide the information or services you, as a customer, request.

What personal data might we collect?

Name, email address, address, mobile phone number, and possibly billing address.

How have we collected your personal data?

We only collect the personal data that you provide to us via email, phone, or contact forms.

With whom do we share the information?

We do not share your personal data with any third party.

What rights do you have?

  • Deletion of personal data: You can request that your personal data be deleted at any time.
  • Right to object: You have the right to object to our use of your personal data.
  • Correction of personal data: You have the right to request that we correct or delete data that is incorrect or incomplete.
  • Access to your personal data – register extract: You have the right to access the categories of personal data we process concerning you, via a register extract.


How long do we retain the information?

If you have initiated contact with us (by signing up for an event or newsletter) or entered into an agreement with us, Ray4U will store your contact information until you or Ray4U wish to terminate the contact. If you contact us and request that your information be deleted, we will do so unless we are obligated to retain the information due to an agreement or other legal reason. Please note that certain information must be retained according to applicable legislation, such as the Swedish Book Keeping Act.

Legal Basis

For us as a company to be able to store various individuals' personal data, we must have a legal basis for this. If we do not have a legal basis, we cannot process your personal data. There are six legal bases under GDPR, and two of them are relevant for the data handled by Ray4U:

  • Consent – You, as an individual, have given us your explicit permission to handle your personal data for certain purposes that you have been clearly informed about. This should preferably be in writing. You can withdraw your consent at any time, and we must then cease the specific processing.
  • Contract – You have entered into an agreement with us. We are allowed to handle your personal data to fulfill the terms of the agreement.


Cookies

We also collect data through so-called  "cookies" on this website. These are small text files stored on your computer that help us see statistics about our website visitors. The cookie files are completely anonymous and do not contain any personal information except for your IP address.

You can choose whether to accept or block cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can change your browser settings to refuse cookies.

Please note that if you choose to block cookies, this may in some cases impair the functionality and experience of the website.

  • Request an extract from the register, request a change or deletion of your personal data.
  • Report if you suspect that your personal data has in any way been accessed by unauthorized persons through our processing or through the processing by our third-party providers.
  • Submit comments or suggestions regarding our Privacy Policy.
  • Ask questions about our processing of your personal data.


Supervisory Authority

If you believe that  we have in any way violated the handling of your personal data, you can report this to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten). They are the supervisory authority for personal data processing and data protection.
